New member of the family

I am a bad blogger. Bad, bad blogger. So many things to do and so little time. I was sick the entire month of December and into January with pneumonia then my hubby was hospitalized with it. Haven't had much mojo. So I thought I would share with you the newest member of our family...

His name is Louie. At first we thought he was a she. Don't ask me how because ummm...it should be obvious right? LOL! He is the cuddliest kitty. Always wanting to be petted and cuddled. And man his purr is LOUD. Like hear him in the next room loud. So, he is in isolation right now while he recovers from ear mites and his tangle with some street cats. Our renter found him outside the house crying to get in because it was cold. She had already taken in 2 kitties along with the one she already had as well as her 2 dogs plus 1 outside. So she called all the shelters in the area but all said they were full. Then she called us. And that's how Louie came to be the newest member of our family. Our two cats are looking forward to him coming out of seclusion so they can meet him!

Email is down...lack of posts...one more show to go!

In case anyone has tried to email me, my email has been down for a few days. My IT department (lol aka the hubby) hopes to have it up and running this weekend. My apologies if you have tried to get in touch with me to place an order or contact me!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been busy getting ready for and participating in some craft fairs nearby. My last craft fair for the season is Saturday, December 3rd. For those of you in Northeast Ohio, this show is huge and I highly recommend attending it! Its at St. Albert the Great Church in North Royalton. This is a juried show and there are over 180 tables in two buildings. They've been doing this show for 32 years and it is well known in the area.

Summer & a card

Don't you just love summer? I do! And yes I complain with the best of them when it is hot & muggy but I would rather be too hot than too cold. So I have been a bad blogger (thanks for the kick in the pants Heather!) and spending my free time in the pool in our backyard. July was a very busy month - the only weekend we had free was the last. So, between the 4th, my parents 50th wedding anniversary (yay!), my birthday and my 20th high school reunion, the blog has taken a backseat.

The card I am sharing with you today was one I created for my friend Kristin who is also a Close To My Heart consultant. I ordered some stuff from her and mailed her my check along with this card. And no, I can't just put the check in an envelope and mail it. lol!

Just some printed cardstock and some stickers and viola! Simple but cute!

Supplies
paper: printed, Jolly Holiday from Hobby Lobby paper pack (circa 2008)
accessories: "Thanks" - Thickers chipboard stickers, Shoebox
flower - K&Company felt stickers, Berry Sweet

Better late than never...

I made some cute little Easter pails for a few gals at work to give to their children and/or grandchildren. Sorry it has taken me so long to share but I was busy procrastinating with getting my blog up. I think they turned out really cute. I downloaded the grass file from here. I cut it out using my Pazzle digital cutter. For those of you that don't know what that is, it is similar to the Cricut but I don't have to use cartridges.

Supplies
stamp: studio G
paper: KI Memories, Stampin' Up
ink: Stampin' Up
accessories: lots of ribbon, Prima flower, Doodlebug Design stickers
other: clear pail and shredded paper
